Incorporation

The Marine Environment and Resources Foundation (MERF), Inc. is a duly recognized non-stock and non-profit organization under the Republic of the Philippines Security and Exchange Commission with Registration No. 192548. It was incorporated on October 2, 1991.

Its home office is located at The Marine Science Institute Building, College of Science, University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City, Philippines.

A Memorandum of Agreement between the University of the Philippines, Diliman and MERF has vested in MERF the opportunity to be one of the major non-governmental organizations to support the Marine Science Institute.
